WELCOME TO THE CANINE PEST DETECTION ASSOCIATION (CPDA)

The Canine Pest Detection Association (CPDA) was launched to provide canine teams the support and expertise needed to further their expertise and professionalism, as well as to provide an independent certification of the team’s competency.

We believe in ongoing education and development of canine scent detection teams. We believe in supporting the success of the canine pest detection industry by promoting principles of transparency, integrity, competency, and continuing education.

What will we provide our members?

CPDA has a mission to provide more accessible and affordable training and certification opportunities,

and provide the membership with timely information and access to experts in the scent detection field.

CPDA will be publishing its organizational structure, by-laws, and meeting minutes in a timely way. A quarterly financial report will also be available to the membership as a measure of total transparency in operating.

The first organizational board meeting will take place on August 20, 2022. CPDA will be publishing the certified scent detection teams on the website and provide the teams their certificates upon successful certification.
